Washington College
February 5th - March 6th 2015
The first rendition of David Hess's installation was presented at Washington College. The mock assault rifles were exhibited at the Kohl Gallery and featured an open panel discussion with the Josh Horwitz (Executive Director, Coalition to Stop Gun Violence), Firmin DeBrabander (Associate Professor of Philosophy, Maryland Institute of Art), and Melissa Deckman (Chair and Professor of Political Science, Washington College), moderated by Christine Wade (Associate Professor of Political Science and International Studies, Washington College). This discussion addressed various perspectives on gun violence, public health, and gun control.
